A well known interior designer from Raipur, Shilpi Sonar specializes in private residences. She is known for the meticulous attention she pays to small details from the initial concept to the final installation. She believes in turning her clients’ dreams into reality. She creates spaces for people according to their persona. She loves designing temples. She also designed the beautiful Salasar Mandir. She says- “I like to add a touch of gold wherever I can. I think it’s the ‘Sonar’ in me which drives me to do that! I add this rich luster wherever I can from living rooms to kitchens, bedrooms to bathrooms. I feel gold helps to add a touch of Glitter and Glamour to my designs. ”

Shilpi has been a mentor for the students in the design field at her own Institute ‘Aesthetic Institute of Design, Raipur, Chhattisgarh’. This Institute was set up by her in an attempt to nurture the budding designers.
