Aayushi Gajendra, the Co-Founder & COO of Nerdy Academy, is a 26-year old Entrepreneur. A nerd right from her childhood, and being an alumnus of NIT Raipur & DPS Bhilai, she is the most perfect person to lead the operations of this Ed-Tech Startup. It is her dedication, vision & passion that has led to the successful expansion of Nerdy across 6 cities in India.

At just an age of 19 years, in the first year of her college, she & her friends came up with the idea of generating some extra bucks by imparting their knowledge to school students by teaching them. This was the start of her entrepreneurial journey. It’s been seven years since then & Nerdy is making a mark for itself in the world, one city at a time. They specialize in personalized one-to-one education for students. Nerdy has successfully conducted more than 2 lakh sessions & generated more than 5000 jobs.
Aayushi has been a scholar all throughout her life & has helped in generation of innovative learning modules for students of all age groups. This was the sole reason for Nerdy getting selected to represented India at the UNESCO APEID Meet at Jakarta & Bandung. Also, she has been representing Nerdy at various other platforms like Tedx, HeadStart, WeWork etc. She has been a speaker for MillionMinds since the past 4 years. She was the speaker at women Entrepreneur’s Conclave at Raipur & has also been a Guest Lecturer at colleges like NIT Raipur, KITE, Shri Shankara College & Rungta College.

She tells us – “My entrepreneurial journey so far has been like living a dream wherein I get to carve my own path, live my own aims and realise my dreams. It’s a life that every woman seeks – independent, adventurous and fulfilling, where each day is a new opportunity to perform better and better & keep growing limitlessly. Although, for me, pursuing a career in entrepreneurship, was like going against the narrow-minded perceptions of the job-driven society. But I had the constant support of my parents & my team who have helped me in realising my dreams. I am super proud to see the society evolving in a manner where the women are getting equal opportunities to excel in their fields. And this is to all the girls, women & potential entrepreneurs, stay strong & be different. If you have the belief in yourself that you can, then you definitely will. Cheers!”
