Rajesh Baisya – Founder BNI Raipur
Mr. Rajesh Baisya, the founder of BNI Raipur is one of the most impactful entrepreneurs, doing his best to change the way Raipur does business. He has transformed a lot of lives by bringing a radical change in the people’s mind-set of doing business. He is currently serving as a District Director, BNI India and an Executive Director, BNI Raipur
Born in Asansol, West Bengal he completed his school education there and later moved to Kolkata where he completed his graduation in Commerce, thereafter he joined his father in his textile business and in 2002 moved to Visakhapatnam and started his own decorative lighting business.
His BNI journey begun when he first attended a BNI meeting in 2014. He was impressed with its unique concept of Business Entrepreneurs helping each other to grow in such a well-structured manner that he immediately became a part of it and joined BNI Visakhapatnam. BNI transformed his life as before the BNI membership he used to work for 12 hours a day for a comparatively much lesser outcome. But after his association he implemented the same BNI business model in his work and his business grew tremendously in two and a half years. He reduced his working hours and got better results! At BNI he explored his passion of impacting people’s lives for a worthwhile change and so to start BNI Raipur, I sold my business when it was at its zenith.
Due to his father’s asthmatic condition on doctor’s advice they moved to Raipur in 2016 which has drier climatic conditions. He was new to the city’s business environment and knew nothing about the city. However, he had a firm belief in BNI and his Executive Director & mentor Mr KVT Ramesh. Under his guidance he came up with BNI Raipur in 2017. Initially people were wary of the BNI system’s success in this city but it finally worked like it did all over India and the World.
BNI is one of the largest Business Referral Organization with a Global Network of 2,60,000+ members in 74 countries focussing on new business ideas, collective growth, and a sense of camaraderie beyond age, sex or any such identity. Since its introduction in the city BNI Raipur has grown to 8 chapters with 380 members in the circle.
