• Implement ‘Digitalization for Chhattisgarhi’ to meet the global standards
• Launch Global Chhattisgarhi dictionary that would contain approximately 170000 Chhattisgarhi words that anyone should be able to translate to any International language using their Chhattiskosh website or /apps.

Ganesh Kar, Executive President of NACHA said “We are very excited to start the project to give the status that it has been denied so far. It was very unfortunate that the Chhattisgarhi language has not been added to the 8th schedule of the constitution as of now. However, NACHA feels that the organization can take necessary initiatives to bring this language under the ambit of the 8th schedule of the constitution. Keeping this vision in mind, a working committee will be announced soon, with the expectation that the working team will work with other community leaders to make this project a great success.

Mr. Ganesh also said that today technology is moving very fast through machine learning, artificial intelligence, and many more, directly improving communication skills Example: ‘Speech to Text’ where the system can convert one language to any other regional, and international languages. He further observed that the Chattisgarhi language can leverage the benefits of such technology, as is already noted in many other languages. In this regard, the team is in dialogue with few multinational companies for collaboration. He further noted that such initiatives will help Chhattisgarhi Language get a similar status as other regional or country language.

Language is a key success of any state/country’s growth. Every person should give respect to language whereabouts they live. Today, during globalization/ Industrialization, if we want other people to come to Chhattisgarh for work / social visit, or our people go to other states/countries then there should be a mechanism for them to learn and adapt their language quickly. Currently, there is a huge gap which we need to fulfill to make the Chhattisgarhi language meet the global standard. NACHA has identified those and will announce the roadmap shortly for the community, and individual involvement.

Mr. Ganesh also said that the success of this project will not only contribute to the advancement of the language but also help the promotion of the state as an attractive destination for investment.
