CG NRI from America Ganesh Kar, launches online portal & App for plasma donations to aid Covid crisis for India – Call center set up at India level to help families across countries.

Ganesh Kar, NACHA President/native from Dantewada, Chhattisgarh along with his NRI friends ( Tijendra Sahu, Tarun Sanghi ,Deepali Saraogi), college (NIT Jamshedpur) friends, and social friends from India, launched the portal/App ‘Blood4us’ to handle blood plasma donations, and set up a call center to support Pan India after registration in the USA.

Ganesh Kar (Chhattisgarh NRI settled in USA) has launched a new online portal / Apps to streamline the process of plasma donation, in light of the severe Covid wave that has hit the country. The organization is registered in America as a non-profit / and India and work in this niche area to support the community.

The portal/App called ‘blood4us, launched a few weeks ago, was founded with an aim to same many lives and arrangement for plasma by establishing real-time and seamless contact between donors and recipients.

Ganesh Kar CEO of Blood4us has mentioned that they are getting many calls/requests across India to arrange the donor. The technology is missing to support it. I have hired 4 employees and working 24*7 to arrange plasma donor / working with blood bank, and individual to motivate to donate Plasma. The portal/Apps worked with Artificial intelligence in the backend and generate the report of Donor needs to be contacted.

The website allows visitors to register as a donor or a patient across India and helps them connect directly to their required source without the intervention of a third party. Donors have to share their contact information, location, blood group, and they are filtered on the basis of location, blood group, and date of recovery.

at present, there are about 8000+ donors and 800 patients that have registered on the portal and 600+ received the Plasma across the country through the Blodo4us organization.

Plasma is a component of the human blood that carries antibodies, and can be donated a month/15 days after recovering from Covid, and in gaps of 15 days.

Ganesh Kar mentioned that his association North America Chhattisgarh association is playing vital rule to support these causes and spreading awareness and motivating everyone to support and donate Plasma/Blood.

Tijendra Sahu (CIO – Blood4us) who is in Chicago from the state of Chhattisgarh has developed this application and working to get more features added in future.

Anyone can register as a Plasma/ Blood donor through www.blood4us.com or app ‘Blood4us’, and submit a request to receive the Plasma. The portal/ App can also help to search donors nearby. Mr. Ganesh mentioned that he has the vision to set up a big call center post covid to save many lives. There are still 30, 00000 blood unit shortages in India and will need a corporate culture to support after post covid.
